Three feeding habits worth taking

Three feeding habits worth taking

The poor feeding habits that most students develop while attending college or the university will almost surely cause them digestive problems once they have reached adulthood. The wonderful flavors and mixture of them that they used to enjoy on their young ages will become a sad memory as they try to remember and rekindle such spirit once they are full grown up and with children of their own.

It will be at this time when they realize that life is certainly not passing by, but youth has already begun to say goodbye and it would be desirable for them to start taking care of their own health while they are still young and fit. Advice such as this might sound redundant for students who are already responsible enough to realize that attending college or the university thanks to a student loan grant means to make the most of it; yet, it is always advisable to keep repeating the warning.

• Eat at a specific schedule

Having a schedule will allow you to keep track of anything and everything you do, besides it will force you to stop working or studying and will prompt you to rest, at least for half an hour.

• Do not eat after 6-7 pm

Eating after these hour will only increase the risk you will have of slowly becoming affected with GORD or any other reflux related illness; it certainly is not life threatening, at least not unless you over medicate or exacerbate the problem by doing all the wrong things, but it can certainly be annoying and uncomfortable.

• Stomach irritants only with measure

Eating spicy food or even chili can be tasty for the mouth but a real massacre inside the stomach; try to avoid eating them as part of any “dare” or other types of parties. If you are drinking alcohol, which, by the way is also an irritant, try to accompany it with something rich, alkaline, and tasty to eat such as cheese, meat, or cream. Do not have a glass of any alcoholic beverage and accompany it with a chili stew; this will only increase the risk of developing any number of gastric diseases in the long run.

Definitely, it is not nice, sexy or the reflection of success to see your boss gulping down on any sort of antacid beverage, anyone who has seen something like that will tell you that the first thing that comes to mind is that the person has gotten old. Whatever care you take of yourself now will be the health you will have in your future life, and this is not only applicable to students with student loans; it is applicable to any and all students.
