Decorating your life, part three
Therefore, a good idea is to look for resin made sculptures that have great quality and excellent craftsmanship; chalkware can also be a choice; however plastic figures will not look as vivid or as fine as other substances that are used in the creation of art figures. If you decide to use paintings on the walls of the bedroom, you should lean towards nature scenes and avoid those paintings that depict human activities or portrays.
• Bathroom
Of course, a bathroom is also accessorized and decorated. This is the second most visited room on the house or apartment besides the kitchen and the living room by your visitors. If you are like most students, starting and adjusting to the student loan budget you will probably will have only bathroom, and as a result, you will have to create a unique air and decorating style that will work both ways. Being 100% presentable and adequate for visitors and still allow you all the comfort that you might want to have in your bathroom at the time that you decide to take a shower or a bath.
Naturally, the use of figurines and paintings that are either oil based or water based are not the best idea; bathrooms have small surfaces that are inadequate for you to place figurines that are susceptible of breaking. Materials such as canvases with oil paints and water based paintings are susceptible of degrading and running or developing mildew, fungus and other bacteria that can cause asthma attacks and other health related ailments.
This is also true for materials such as wood and chalkware. Therefore, the best decorative materials for bathrooms are plastics, glass or crystal, and fabric. Sewing your own bathroom tapestry can also be an option.
• Kitchen
Living in an apartment or house means that you will have a kitchen, even if this is a very small one. Cooking your food, will create a greasy smog that will cling heavily to any surface in the kitchen whether it is the countertop or the decorative pieces; and cleaning them will require specialized cleaning products that can damage or completely destroy the figurines and the art work with which you are planning to decorate the kitchen on your student’s house or apartment.
Of course, crystal or glass figures and fabrics are the most commonly used materials in the decoration of the kitchen since they are susceptible of washing and will suffer the least possible damage when cleaned with the proper substances.
A kitchen should always be cleared and allow you to cook with ease and comfort, if you over crowd it, when it is time to even boil some water for a coffee, you will hesitate and rather buy an already brewed coffee. This attitude will hinder and damage your student loan budget and will cause you to end up seeking for an alternative accommodation or an afterschool work, thus damaging your overall activity at college or the university.
